Provide comprehensive administrative and secretarial support to the Primary Care Team.
- Manage diaries, emails, and compose routine letters, memos and emails on a daily basis.
- Provide quality administrative and secretarial support to a range of Primary Care Services and make full use of available technology.
- Plan and prioritise own workload, adjust meeting arrangements, handle conflicting diary appointments and use judgement to make alternative plans for the Primary Care Team.
- Act as first point of contact for salaried staff, independent contractors and patients in relation to queries regarding core Primary Care Services.
- Liaise with members of the public and handle potentially sensitive patient information. Patients are often elderly; communication requires tact.
- Assist in maintaining and updating team training programmes and rotas, ensuring distribution to line managers where necessary.
Qualifications
Ability to speak Welsh is desirable. Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
