This is a newly created role supporting a Credit Control team predominately with cash allocation and opening of new accounts.

It is a friendly team of 5, looking for someone who is a team player who can work alongside the 4 Credit Controllers.

  • Job details
  • Cash allocations across 3 bank accounts
  • Taking daily card payments
  • Daily bank reconciliation
  • Reconcile proforma accounts
  • Prepare refunds and raising of credit notes
  • Reconciling and post to accounts
  • Opening of new accounts
  • Credit insurance administration
  • Reviewing accounts that have been dormant & those wanting to increase credit limits

Requirements

  • Minimum of 12-18 months finance/accounts/sales ledger/credit control experience is essential
  • Experience of cash allocation would be advantageous
  • Attention to detail is essential
  • Good communication skills
  • A willingness to learn or support credit control during busy periods and holidays
  • Training will be given at the start and during this period 5 days a week in the office will be needed for a short period of time
