We are seeking a passionate individual chef/cook to join our kitchen team at the Friary hospital Richmond North Yorkshire. The Friary is an eighteen bed community Hospital situated within the heart of Richmond. The ideal candidate will possess a background in catering within similar settings, a strong focus on food preparation & service for patient feeding & staff canteen within the hospital.
Duties:
- Daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food preparation and presentation
- Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with health regulations
- Monitor inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed to maintain stock
Experience:
- Experience as a Chef/cook
- Strong culinary skills with an understanding of food preparation techniques
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen environment
- Excellent communication skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £14.10 per hour
Expected hours: 18 per week
