The Role

We are seeking an experienced and values-driven Director of Integrated Services to join our Senior Leadership Team. This is a high-impact leadership role with responsibility for strategic and operational oversight across multiple services. You will act as the RQIA Registered Responsible Individual, ensuring excellence in care, governance, and compliance while driving innovation and sustainable growth. The role involves regular travel across our services, with a flexible base location in proximity to Belfast.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership & Governance
    • Lead the development and delivery of a Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) programme aligned to RQIA standards
    • Shape and implement a robust Quality and Governance strategy
    • Contribute to the Corporate Risk Register and lead governance committees
    • Act as Safeguarding Champion, ensuring best practice and oversight across services
    • Key accountability to the Board – Board Reports and regular communication is critical to the success of the Director
  • Operational Excellence
    • Ensure high-quality, person-centred care across all services
    • Monitor KPIs and use data to drive performance and improvement
    • Oversee referral pathways and optimise service capacity
    • Maintain full regulatory compliance and proactive engagement with RQIA
  • People & Culture
    • Lead, inspire and develop high-performing teams
    • Build strong relationships with Registered Managers and clinical leaders
  • Partnerships & Growth
    • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, commissioners and Trusts
    • Identify and develop opportunities for service expansion

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 5 years’ senior leadership experience within the social care sector
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
  • Strong knowledge of RQIA standards and regulatory frameworks
  • Proven leadership, people management and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Commercial awareness with experience managing budgets and performance
  • Full driving licence and willingness to travel regularly
  • Level 7 Leadership qualification or equivalent
  • Experience as a Responsible Individual
  • Clinical qualification (e.g. Registered Nurse, Occupational Therapist or similar)
  • Knowledge of therapeutic and non-aversive care models
