What will you do?
- Assist the Project and Package Managers in day-to-day tasks during the pre-construction phase.
- In depth review of subcontractor design deliverables including management plans, drawings, 3D models, risk registers, and construction plans.
- Generate site installation drawings, time slices, and 4D construction sequences using CAD or BIM software.
- Support pre-construction design and methods development into construction delivery.
- Support construction methodology solutions development in-line with design development.
- Support the development of construction sequencing following Method-led Construction principles.
- Support the integration of temporary works design with permanent works design through the application of sound engineering principles.
- Develop the concept temporary works schemes required, draft design briefs and review temporary works design deliverables.
- Develop logistics strategies and support Subcontractors developing logistic management plans for delivery of the works.
- Coordinate and collaborate with a variety of discipline specialists (both in-house capability and external supply chain) on several concurrent projects, either at bid or pre-construction stage, or during early stages of construction, adopting the Method-led Construction approach.
- Develop and visualise construction schedules using 4D planning tools to support methodology options.
- Support the adoption of modern methods of construction to improve productivity.
- Identify risks associated with the works, support the development of mitigations.
- Record lessons learnt and capturing knowledge for the future.
- Utilise BIM tools (Navisworks, AutoCAD) to enhance design coordination and construction planning.
- Identify ambiguities within design, propose changes and raise RFI, FCR, TQY.
- Assist the Project and Package Managers in day-to-day subcontract management.

Knowledge & Skills
Essential
- Project experience in complex / major complex project environments (at Site Engineer / Section Engineer level or equivalent).
- Up-to-date knowledge of construction methodologies.
- Understanding of project planning and resourcing.
- Up-to-date knowledge of industry standard safe systems of work.
- Ensure responsibilities under CDM Regulations.
- Applied knowledge of modern methods of construction and digital planning tools.
- Proficient in working with digital models and BIM environments (e.g., Navisworks).
- Deadline-focussed outputs.
- Interpersonal and communications skills.
- Facilitation skills.
- Proficient in AutoCAD for technical drawing and design coordination.
- Proficient in BIM tools, particularly Navisworks, for model review and 4D sequencing.
