Help Shape the UK’s Energy Future. As part of the CWA (Civil Works Alliance), you will support the building of Sizewell C. Sizewell C will be a 3.2-gigawatt power station generating low-carbon electricity for around 6 million homes and will play a key role in our energy future, supplying reliable, clean electricity for at least 60 years. This role will be within the Logistics & Services Section.

What will you do?

  • Lead the 4–6 week forecasting and planning process, consolidating inputs from contractors and aligning with project requirements.
  • Manage delivery slots through the Delivery Management System (DMS), ensuring compliance with vehicle caps, permits, and escort requirements.
  • Oversee real time operations, including site access, routing compliance, abnormal load movements, and safety protocols.
  • Produce and maintain logistics trackers (AIL lists, materials, forecasts) and provide weekly reporting dashboards.
  • Act as the single point of coordination between contractors, police, highways authorities, Network Rail, and internal project teams.
  • Enforce contractor compliance with logistics procedures, escalating issues where necessary.
  • Identify risks, bottlenecks, and capacity constraints early and propose practical solutions.
  • Drive continuous improvement by applying lessons learned, introducing digital tools, and training logistics staff and contractors.

What are we looking for?

  • Proven experience managing logistics on major infrastructure, construction, or industrial projects.
  • Strong understanding of delivery management systems, abnormal load processes, and site logistics.
  • Excellent coordination and stakeholder management skills, able to engage contractors and authorities.
  • Analytical and problem-solving mindset with ability to make decisions under pressure.
  • Familiarity with reporting, forecasting, and compliance monitoring.
  • Clear communicator and natural organiser.
  • Assertive but collaborative approach to contractor management.
  • Strategic thinker with an eye for detail.
  • Calm under pressure and solutions-oriented.
