Opportunity with the Civil Works Alliance (CWA), supporting Sizewell C. As part of the CWA, you will support the building of Sizewell C, a 3.2-gigawatt power station generating low-carbon electricity for around 6 million homes.

This role will be within the CWA Wide Section.

What will you do?

  • The Senior Process & Accountability Manager will support the lead to design and map CWA’s key processes, turning them into clear, visual flows and practical “how to” guidance within the Integrated Management System.
  • Define and maintain accountability frameworks (such as Linear Responsibility Matrices) to clarify responsibilities across delivery sections, functions, and key stakeholders.
  • Drive implementation and adoption of these processes and accountabilities, ensuring they are understood, used, and embedded in day-to-day delivery.
  • Facilitate cross-functional workshops, track process development progress, and surface issues and opportunities of CWA’s ways of working.

Principal Accountabilities, Activities and Decisions

  • Process mapping: Define and develop Integrated Management System controls (procedures, templates, guidance) that reflect how CWA operates in practice. Identify urgent and critical processes for deeper analysis and standardisation. Produce clear and visual process maps and swim lanes. Develop concise checklists and supporting guidance that translate Integrated Management System requirements into practical “how to” steps. Report progress to the lead with deliverables and programme performance, highlighting achievements and challenges.
  • Accountability frameworks: Support accountability mapping (e.g. Linear Responsibility Matrix, similar to RACI) across delivery sections, functions, and with CWA key stakeholders.
  • Implementation and adoption: Drive implementation and adoption of the processes and accountabilities across CWA, ensuring they are understood, used, and embedded in day-to-day delivery.
  • Workshop facilitation: Lead and facilitate workshops with multiple stakeholders, ensuring strategic alignment between key functions and sections. Identify opportunities for improvements to the systems and processes to ensure best practice and continuous improvements.

What are we looking for?

  • Experience working in large-scale complex organisations.
  • Broad understanding of core organisational functions (Finance, Health & Safety, ESG, Project Controls, Commercial, HR) and delivery areas (Pre-construction, Logistics etc).
  • Proven track record of mapping, developing, and presenting controls across multiple functions.
  • Experience using RACI (and similar LRM models) to define clear ownership.
  • Experienced in using visual management tools (Visio, etc.) to map and present information.
  • Confident facilitator with strong interpersonal skills.
  • A formal LEAN/AGILE and Change Management certification is a plus.
