What You’ll Be Doing

As a Construction Manager, you’ll oversee the re-construction of a key section of the SZC works. you’ll lead the charge in ensuring safety, efficiency, and on-time delivery. From tactical logistics planning to stakeholder engagement, your role will encompass the entire construction lifecycle, including:

• Strategic Execution: You will be helping the PM TO Develop and implement detailed construction strategies and plans.
• Project Oversight: To Deliver new Projects into Sizewell C Project with Safety and quality at the forefront ofour works.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborating with contractors, regulators, and government bodies to ensure projectsuccess.
• Continuous Improvement: Driving innovation and embedding lessons learned to ensure world-class project delivery.
• Good knowledge of CDM Regulations and a proven track record of their implementation.

What We’re Looking For

We need a proven leader with a strong track record of delivering large, technically Complex Construction and Civil Engineering projects.

• Industry Expertise within Construction and Civil Engineering.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary teams, on projects, and working within regulated environments.
• Leadership Capabilities: Ability to inspire teams, resolve complex issues, and foster collaboration.
• TechnicalKnowledge: Familiarity with construction methodologies, CDM Regulations, and earned value management tools.
• Strong Communication: Excellent interpersonal, influencing, and presentation skills to engage stakeholders effectively.
• Degree and chartered status in an engineering, construction, or other related field desirable.
• SMSTS and CSCS site manager card -Essential.
