4D Specialist Opportunity with the Civil Works Alliance (CWA), Supporting Sizewell C. As part of the CWA (Civil Works Alliance), you will support the building of Sizewell C. Sizewell C will be a 3.2‑gigawatt power station generating low‑carbon electricity for around 6 million homes and will play a key role in our energy future, supplying reliable, clean electricity for at least 60 years. This role will be within the Marine and Tunnels Section.
What will you do?
The Sizewell C (SZC) Marine and Tunnelling function requires a 4D Digital Coordinator responsible for integrating construction methods, programmes and 3D models to create time‑based digital simulations that improve constructability, safety, and programme certainty on complex infrastructure projects. Develop, maintain and manage 4D construction models by integrating 3D information models with construction programmes. Translate construction methodologies, temporary works, logistics and sequencing into time‑linked digital simulations.
What are we looking for?
- Understanding of construction planning principles, including sequencing, logistics, temporary works, and trade interfaces.
- Knowledge of 4D planning methodologies, integrating programme data with 3D information models to support construction delivery.
- Understanding of BIM and information management processes across design, construction, and handover.
- Ability to develop and maintain 4D models by linking construction programmes with 3D models using industry‑standard software.
