Help shape the UK's energy future as part of the Civil Works Alliance (CWA), supporting Sizewell C. Sizewell C will be a 3.2-gigawatt power station generating low-carbon electricity for around 6 million homes and will play a key role in our energy future, supplying reliable, clean electricity for at least 60 years.
This role will be within the Logistics & Services Section.

As a Methods Engineer, you'll bridge the gap between engineering, logistics and construction delivery, ensuring the project's logistics systems are safe, efficient and buildable.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and maintaining site plot plans and logistics layouts
- Producing and reviewing technical drawings, BIM models and logistics sequences
- Designing temporary infrastructure, accommodation facilities and utility solutions
- Creating innovative construction methodologies and logistics strategies
- Coordinating temporary works and managing key engineering interfaces
- Identifying operational risks and implementing practical solutions
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to optimise site operations
- Supporting the safe and successful delivery of one of the UK's largest construction programmes
What are we looking for?
We're looking for a proactive engineering professional who can turn complex challenges into practical solutions.
Essential:
- Civil or Mechanical Engineering degree (or equivalent experience)
- Experience in logistics, plant operations, maintenance or engineering support
- Strong understanding of construction plant and equipment
- Experience working on large-scale infrastructure or civil engineering projects
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Primavera or similar engineering tools
- Knowledge of Temporary Works requirements and BS 5975
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Desirable:
- Temporary Works or Construction Engineering qualifications
- Experience within major infrastructure or nuclear projects
- Joint Venture or Alliance project experience
- Knowledge of UK lifting legislation and procedures
- Experience using CMMS systems
