OTR Clerk Opportunity with the Civil Works Alliance (CWA), Supporting Sizewell C
As part of the CWA (Civil Works Alliance), you will support the building of Sizewell C. Sizewell C will be a 3.2-gigawatt power station generating low-carbon electricity for around 6 million homes and will play a key role in our energy future, supplying reliable, clean electricity for at least 60 years.
This role will be within theCWA Wide Section.
What will you do?
The OTR Clerk role will support the SZC team by taking responsibility for the finance compliance on the project to meet client approval processes and procedures and monitoring the ongoing compliance for all who have site access.
The key is to develop and maintain a high performing, trusted and customer focused the whole CWA and CWP finance team.
Key responsibilities:
Monthly Cost Closing:
Ensure POs are raise correctly, receipted and completed
Ensure invoice discrepancies are investigate and actions put in place to avoid invoices log in the first place.
Maximise the reception of POs to reduce the level of manual Accruals
Action discrepancies on time to avoid late payment
Review Receipt not vouchered periodically to clear them.
Review outstanding invoices for manual accruals to be made.
Ensure invoices are paid on time
Anticipate delay and action to avoid late payment
Assist in stock management in GMAO
Ensure the flow between Stock pick and purchase requisition are efficient and smooth.
Raise Purchase requisition in GMAO
Assist in the creation and verification of new supplier
What are we looking for?
Skills required:
Ability to work and build relationships in a diverse team ranging from Production, Commercial, Finance and Cost Control department.
To respect reporting deadlines.
Previous SAP experience will be of benefit.
