Help Shape the UKs Energy Future Tunnel Electrical Engineer Opportunity with the Civil Works Alliance (CWA), Supporting Sizewell C As part of the CWA (Civil Works Alliance), you will support the building of Sizewell C.
Sizewell C will be a 3.2-gigawatt power station generating low-carbon electricity for around 6 million homes and will play a key role in our energy future, supplying reliable, clean electricity for at least 60 years.
This role will be within the Marine and Tunnels Section.
What will you do?
The Electrical Engineer will support the electrical team across the project, responsibilities including but not limited to: Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and documentation for the team.
Design, develop and maintain thorough testing regime for systems on site.
Conduct calculations/simulations to support design decisions.
Assist technically with installation and commissioning of systems.
Diagnose and resolve electrical engineering problems and equipment breakdowns.
Ensure compliance with relevant codes/standards and safety regulations.
Collaborate with other teams on the project and co-ordinate works.
Write risk and method statements Completing permit applications Support and review subcontractors design and implementation planning.
