Help shape the UK's energy future with the Civil Works Alliance (CWA), supporting Sizewell C. As part of the CWA, you will support the building of Sizewell C, a 3.2-gigawatt power station generating low-carbon electricity for around 6 million homes and playing a key role in our energy future, supplying reliable, clean electricity for at least 60 years.
This role will be within the Marine and Tunnels Section.
What will you do?
- Feeding into the Lead Estimator and the Head of Estimating on the project to ensure consistency in estimating approach set out by the client.
- Work closely with a Senior Estimator or on your own to produce various estimating documentation that can be assured both internally and externally.
- Be a member of the team developing the price, mentoring and supporting more junior members of the estimating team.
What are we looking for?
Knowledge & Skills
- Essential: Proficient in the use of Excel and similar software.
- Good knowledge & understanding of written English & mathematics.
- Desirable: Experienced estimating background using Candy Estimating Software.
- Experienced estimating background using RIB Cost X Quantification & Estimating Software.
- Experience of working with the AACE principles of Estimating Class and associated maturity.
- Mobile and flexible.
