QA Automation Engineer – London CW Talent Solutions is partnering with a leading global hedge fund to hire an experienced QA Automation Engineer to strengthen the quality and reliability of complex trading systems. We are seeking a talented QA Automation Engineer with a strong background in test automation for high throughput, low latency systems. You\’ll work closely with software developers, quants, and infrastructure teams to design and implement robust testing frameworks that ensure the stability and performance of trading applications. Design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks for trading systems Build test plans, cases, and scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing Identify, document, and track bugs, performance issues, and system bottlenecks Collaborate across teams to ensure software meets functional and non-functional requirements Continuously improve QA processes, tools, and methodologies Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field Proven experience in QA engineering or software testing within financial services or high-performance tech environments Strong programming/scripting skills in Python, Java, or similar Experience with automation tools such as Selenium, PyTest, or similar frameworks Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control, and test integration in DevOps environments Understanding of trading systems, market data, or real-time applications is a plus Play a key role in ensuring the resilience and integrity of world class trading technology Highly competitive compensation and strong career development prospects Work with top tier engineering and quantitative teams in a technology driven environment Be part of a firm renowned for its innovation and systematic approach to investing Our client is a globally respected hedge fund with a deep focus on quantitative research and technology.
