Business Development Managers play a key role within the commercial team, hunting down new leads, bringing new business into our clients' company, and playing a crucial role in managing customer relationships. You should work well with internal support functions and other members of the team, sharing ideas and success stories.
The Role
- Hunt down new business and follow up any leads
- Lease with customers to understand security requirements
- Manage customer expectations and build relationships
- Hit new business targets set by Head of Sales
Operational Support
- Attend sites and carry out site surveys/risk assessments
- Ensure a smooth process for the client and business from order to cash
- Lease closely with operations for solution selling and project mobilisation
Administration
- Weekly Forecasting of opportunities and pipeline
- Attend weekly calls with sales team and quarterly reviews
- Update CRM system with any new contacts and leads
- Follow processes pre-installation and mobilisations
