Role Description
We’re looking for a committed and experienced Trainer/Assessor in Hairdressing. The ideal candidate will have experience in delivering hairdressing apprenticeships at levels 2 and 3 with a knowledge of vocational education and training. Essential requirements include a track record in working in hairdressing for a minimum of two years along with a level 3 qualification in hairdressing. You’ll excel at building relationships, driving new business, training and coaching a caseload of apprentices, while delivering strategic plans. Strong communication and flexibility are essential. A positive attitude and commitment to professional development are required. If you’re passionate about supporting businesses to develop their people, we want to hear from you.
Qualifications
- Hairdressing Qualification at level 3
- Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle (for travel to employer premises)
- Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to undergo a DBS check if successful)
- Recognised teaching qualification (PTLLS, AET or equivalent). We can support tutors to gain a teaching qualification if successful
