We are seeking an experienced and passionate E-Commerce & Trading Manager to join our team. As the E-Commerce & Trading Manager, you will be responsible for driving effective merchandise planning, reacting to trade, and inspiring a team to provide an outstanding experience for our customers. This role will be based in our Brighton HQ and will involve working cross-functionally across the merchandising, e-commerce, and wider marketing team.
Responsibilities
- Expert in product presentation across marketing and sales channels to meet KPIs.
- Attend merchandising product sign off and promo planning meetings.
- Create category-specific merchandising strategies to drive product discoverability and presentation.
- Manage and merchandise products across the site and various business platforms daily.
- Review data analytics to optimize online aspects of the brand and determine merchandising strategy.
- Streamline weekly reports on best/worst sellers and strategies/reactions.
- Appraise competitor websites to ensure alignment with industry trends.
- Plan and execute cross-selling and up-selling strategies for website items.
- Develop and recommend changes to online category strategy based on insights and KPI analysis.
- Work cross-functionally to align and plan product buy-in and marketing initiatives.
- Direct product & category descriptions and monitor site issues.
- Contribute to marketing initiatives and lessons learnt analysis.
- Analyze and publish insights into click/conversion rate on banner/promos/models.
- Create actionable plans to support SEO/PPC and merchandising range plan building.
- Identify and inform relevant stakeholders on website functionality improvements.
- Optimize the use of e-com imagery and video on PDPs.
- Set and track platform KPIs and prioritize business goals.
Qualifications
- 2 to 5+ years of experience in e-commerce merchandising roles.
- Extensive experience with web analytics tools and Shopify.
- Data-driven with a focus on conversion rate and customer flow tracking.
- Experience with major online platforms and their ecosystems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Analytical and process-oriented with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- SEO experience preferred.
Day-to-day
- Full-time position of 37.5 hours, Monday to Friday, based in Brighton, UK (3 days are compulsory).
- Potential for hybrid-remote work.
