We are looking for a highly skilled, passionate full-time Store Manager for our Boutique Outlet store in Bicester. You will run the store with excellent commercial thinking, striving to meet and exceed store targets. You will lead and coach the store team to deliver exceptional service, keeping the customer experience at the forefront of every decision, and provide feedback and ideas to help improve overall store performance.
Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day store operations, including service standards, KPI and target achievement, staff scheduling, recruitment, and stock management.
- Train and mentor your team to ensure customers receive an outstanding shopping experience, acting as a role model for exceptional service.
- Maintain store security, minimising stock loss and other security risks.
- Become an expert on all products, inspiring both customers and the team.
- Stay organised and composed during peak trading periods.
- Collaborate with merchandising and trading teams to review products and provide feedback based on customer interactions.
- Work closely with the visual merchandising team to showcase products and maintain high standards for new collection launches.
- Proactively communicate any team performance or people‐related issues to the Retail Area Manager and address them promptly.
- Drive activity to achieve KPIs, including sales, customer data capture, and omnichannel engagement.
- Manage cost efficiency and ensure all processes are streamlined.
Requirements
- Minimum of two years of managerial experience in luxury or premium retail.
- Strong commercial awareness, with the ability to create an exceptional shopping experience while adhering to safety standards.
- A keen eye for style and presentation, inspiring customers through your own standards.
- Proven sales experience with a natural ability to upsell.
