About the Role

We are seeking a visionary and commercially driven Store Director to lead a flagship luxury fashion boutique within Harrods. This is a high-impact leadership role where you will drive commercial success, elevate the client experience, and lead a passionate team in one of the world's most iconic retail environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership & Development
    • Inspire and lead a diverse team through hands‐on coaching and regular feedback.
    • Identify talent and create development plans to support career growth and succession.
    • Foster a positive, empowering, and collaborative team culture.
    • Ensure effective onboarding and integration of new team members.
  • Client Experience
    • Lead by example on the shop floor, coaching the team in real-time to deliver exceptional service.
    • Manage client flow and ensure every visitor receives a personalised experience.
    • Build and maintain a client‐centric culture focused on exceeding expectations.
    • Grow the client database through effective data capture and relationship building.
  • Business Development
    • Drive top‐line sales and identify opportunities to maximise performance.

    • Act as a brand ambassador, networking and representing the store externally.
  • Operations & Compliance
    • Ensure full compliance with company policies, health & safety, and operational standards.
    • Maintain inventory accuracy and oversee stock management.
    • Guarantee seamless collaboration between front and‐of‐house teams.
    • Monitor business performance and implement corrective actions as needed.

Profile & Requirements

  • Proven experience in luxury retail leadership, ideally in a flagship or department store setting.
  • Current or recent experience working at Harrods is essential.
  • Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for fashion, craftsmanship, and client service.
  • Agile, solution‐oriented, and collaborative mindset.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
