The Role
As Stockroom Manager, you will lead and develop the stock team to optimise operations across multiple locations. You'll play a key role in ensuring smooth stock flow, maintaining accurate inventory, and supporting store teams to deliver outstanding results. This position requires a strong understanding of stock and operations within a high-volume, fast-paced retail environment.
Responsibilities
- Inventory Handling: Lift, transport, and organise stock efficiently.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate stock levels, manage replenishment, and implement effective stock control strategies.
- Training & Supervision: Lead, train, and motivate the stock team to achieve operational excellence.
- Loss Prevention: Partner with store teams to drive loss prevention initiatives.
- Reporting: Prepare and analyse reports on stock levels, movement, and performance metrics.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years' experience in stockroom control or similar operational role.
- Proven experience managing or supervising a team in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Strong knowledge of stock control systems, inventory processes, and supply chain operations.
- Experience in fashion retail preferred.
- Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Good understanding of health and safety standards within a stockroom environment.
- Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
