Our client, an established furniture manufacturer and retailer, is searching for a super star Sales Manager to grow and lead their business in the North of England and Scotland. The Sales Manager will be responsible for all account and area management in the territory and will be the first line of contact for all customer sales and service.
Reporting to the Managing Director, the successful Sales Manager will have an ability to sell to all different types of customers, be a decision maker with excellent problem-solving skills, have the ability to negotiate, delegate, influence and persuade to achieve targets. The Sales Manager needs to have a mind for tech specs, strong excel and IT skills and be motivated and ambitious enough to work alone on their own initiative without direction.
Responsibilities:- Forming close relations with owners and buyers of all customers
- Training of Sales staff to brand standard
- Ensure product knowledge is always fully up to date
- Attend exhibitions and shows internally and externally as required
- Maintain the upkeep of retailers displays and points of sale
- Display model list regular updating
- Knowledge of sell through rates by customer, by model
- Maintaining close shop floor relationships
