We're partnering with a fast-growing and highly regarded beauty business known for delivering innovative, high-quality products with sustainability at the core. Due to continued growth, they're looking for a Beauty Packaging Assistant to join the team - an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about beauty, packaging, and product development to work across multiple brands in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
The Role
Supporting the Packaging Lead, you'll play a key role in bringing packaging concepts to life across both new launches and existing product lines. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who is highly organised, detail-driven, and eager to develop within packaging - whether you already have some experience or are looking to build on a relevant background.
What You'll Be Doing
- Packaging Development
- Support the development of new packaging solutions from concept through to launch
- Assist with sourcing, innovation projects, cost efficiencies, and print approvals
- Help manage colour standards and packaging specifications
- Artwork & Approvals
- Review artwork layouts for accuracy and compliance
- Ensure alignment with print specs, cutter guides, and sustainability requirements
- Innovation & Trends
- Keep up to date with packaging trends, materials, and finishes
- Source new ideas and maintain a library of samples and supplier information
- Sustainability
- Support initiatives around recyclability, material reduction, and sustainable packaging solutions
- Technical & Documentation
- Prepare technical briefs, specifications, and testing requirements
- Maintain accurate packaging data, drawings, and approval records
- Quality & Compliance
- Ensure all packaging meets brand, regulatory, and quality standards
What We're Looking For
- A genuine interest in beauty and packaging
- Strong organisation and attention to detail
- Confident communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Experience
- Previous experience in packaging is a plus, but not essential
- Backgrounds in Packaging, Buying, Quality, or Design are all relevant
- A Packaging-related qualification would be advantageous
