About the Company
We are working with a fast-growing, digitally savvy business investing heavily in creative content, digital engagement and original storytelling. As part of this growth, the business is launching a brand-new podcast series and is looking for a creative Podcast Editor to help shape its content and visual identity.
The Role
As a Podcast Editor, you will be responsible for turning long-form podcast footage into engaging, high-quality content across social and digital platforms. You will edit full podcast episodes as well as short-form content for TikTok, Instagram and YouTube, identifying strong moments, creating compelling stories and ensuring content is optimised for audience engagement. This is a hands-on role with the opportunity to make a real creative impact within a scaling business.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit multi-camera podcast footage into polished long-form episodes and social content
- Create reels, clips, teasers and other short-form content for TikTok, Instagram and YouTube
- Identify strong hooks, improve pacing and shape conversations into engaging stories
- Manage colour correction/grading, sound design, audio mixing and noise reduction
- Create and incorporate motion graphics to enhance content
- Ensure high standards across audio, lighting, captions and overall production quality
- Organise project files, maintain version control and manage deadlines
- Stay ahead of social formats, platform specifications, creative trends and audience behaviour
- Explore and utilise 3D and AI creative tools to enhance content
Requirements
- 2-3+ years' experience in video and/or podcast editing
- Strong portfolio demonstrating podcast, social and short-form video editing
- Advanced skills in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects; experience with DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro or Avid is beneficial
- High proficiency across Adobe Creative Cloud, including Photoshop and Illustrator
- Experience with multi-camera editing, colour grading, sound design and motion graphics
- Strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube formats
- Digitally savvy with a strong understanding of current content and design trends
- Excellent storytelling, pacing and attention to detail
- Experience with 3D and AI tools
- Highly organised, reliable and able to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment
