Very well known and very successful British Fashion Brand! We are seeking a Junior Womenswear Designer with a focus on Tops to support the Head of Design in reflecting the creative vision of the brand and delivering the commercial strategy of the business plan.
Responsibilities
- Design Top categories and support on all other design categories as needed
- Conceptualize the Tops range and pull together seasonal research
- Source fabrics within the department and gain sales momentum on above categories
- Complete spec sheets and technical packs, attend fit sessions, and manage the critical path
- Work closely with various teams to maintain consistency of quality and fit across the product range
- Assist backstage at the showing of the latest collection
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in womenswear woven category
- Ability to sketch by hand & with computer, experience with PLM or PDM
- Proficiency in 3D work, CAD, eye for prints, textiles & embroideries/embellishment
- Pro‐active, flexible, and able to work in a fast‐paced environment
