Our Client, a supplier to many high street retailers, is looking for an enthusiastic Junior Womenswear Designer to join their busy team.
The Role
- Assist senior designers – Research current fashion trends to create forward-thinking, commercially viable designs.
- Design across a broad range of categories on ladieswear and kidswear.
- Produce detailed technical CADs and comprehensive tech packs using Adobe Illustrator.
Qualifications
- At least 3+ years of experience working for a supplier within the Design Team.
- Demonstrated experience working with suppliers and manufacturers, particularly in Bangladesh or similar production environments.
- Knowledge of garment construction, fabric properties, and technical design.
- Proficiency in design software (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CAD software).
- Strong understanding of fashion trends, colour theory, and garment functionality.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Ability to manage multiple design projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a creative approach to design.
