Our client is a British heritage fashion brand, known for their timeless style, seeking a Head of E-commerce to lead their digital retail strategy and elevate their online presence. This is a pivotal leadership role for someone passionate about combining tradition with innovation.
The Role
As Head of E-commerce, you will own the full digital customer experience - from site performance and merchandising to conversion optimization and digital revenue growth. You will report to the Managing Director and work cross-functionally with marketing, logistics, creative, and retail teams to ensure the online experience reflects the heritage and quality of the brand.
Key Responsibilities
- E-commerce Strategy: Develop and execute the online trading strategy to drive sales, conversion, AOV, and customer lifetime value.
- Platform Management: Oversee the day-to-day management of the e-commerce platform (Magento or Shopify), ensuring optimal performance, uptime, and user experience.
- Site UX & Merchandising: Own the customer journey - from homepage to checkout - ensuring intuitive navigation, engaging content, and data-led merchandising.
- Data & Insights: Analyse web performance metrics (traffic, sales, bounce rate, etc.) to identify opportunities for growth and optimisation.
