Purpose of the Role
Support the E-Commerce Trading Manager to deliver seasonal sales plans by ensuring products launch on time with high-quality images and copy. Optimise site merchandising to drive sales, conversion, and Average Order Value (AOV). Keep website content inspirational, engaging, and aligned with trading, marketing, and retail strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in producing weekly trade packs; analyse performance and suggest improvements.
- Track weekly web and company bestsellers to ensure availability online.
- Monitor new product launches and highlight any issues (late deliveries, missing assets).
- Review stock levels and remove out-of-stock or sale lines from prime categories.
- Use Google Analytics to monitor site/product performance and identify merchandising needs.
- Ensure products are featured according to marketing and trading calendars.
- Check promotional pricing and highlight risks to delivery.
- Recommend products for emails and site content in collaboration with marketing and trading teams.
- Work with merchandising and visual merchandising teams on new launches and opportunities.
