We are looking for a Deputy Store Manager to join our flagship store on King's Road. As the Deputy Store Manager, you will work closely with the Store Manager to deliver exceptional retail, operational, and commercial standards. The Deputy Store Manager will lead, motivate, and develop a team of Senior Sales and Sales Assistants, while ensuring an outstanding customer experience. In this role, the Deputy Store Manager will maximise sales, drive performance, and support the daily operations of the store.

Accountabilities and Responsibilities
  • Deliver exceptional customer service at all times and support the Store Manager in ensuring customer satisfaction, sales, and strategic objectives are consistently exceeded.
  • Maximise sales opportunities by maintaining strong service standards and ensuring the sales floor meets expectations.
  • Maintain high visibility on the shop floor, fostering a customer‐centric environment.
  • Lead by example, coaching the team to ensure a welcoming and professional approach to every customer interaction.
  • Use KPIs to analyse performance and guide sales activities.
  • Keep the team focused on meeting targets and collaborate to achieve shared goals.
  • Communicate stock replenishment needs to the Store Manager and relevant teams to optimise sales and product availability.
  • Share feedback on stock levels, bestsellers, and ideal inventory, escalating concerns where appropriate.
  • Support team training on brand values, product knowledge, and sales techniques.
  • Assist with the execution of merchandising, product launches, and key retail initiatives.
  • Work with the Store Manager to elevate the customer journey through agreed retail and visual standards.
  • Coach the team to maintain high presentation, housekeeping, and visual consistency, ensuring customer service remains the top priority.
People Management
  • Support the Store Manager in managing daily team operations, providing clear guidance and constructive feedback.
  • Assist with key people processes such as attendance management and performance reviews in line with company policies.
  • Contribute to scheduling, ensuring appropriate floor coverage and efficiency at all times.
  • Take on additional operational responsibilities when required.
  • Clearly communicate team goals and objectives as agreed with the Store Manager.
  • Foster a positive, engaging, and inclusive work environment.
  • Motivate and inspire the team to reach their potential and consistently improve performance.
  • Assist with development plans, coaching, and training to elevate team capability.
Health & Safety
  • Support the Store Manager and team to ensure all environmental, training, and safety standards are met and maintained.
  • Ensure compliance with company and statutory health and safety obligations through ongoing training and communication.
  • Report any risks or concerns promptly through the appropriate channels.
