We're partnering with a well-established fashion business to recruit a Junior Designer to join their womenswear design team in London. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative and detail-driven designer to contribute to trend-led womenswear collections within a fast-paced, commercially focused environment.

The Role

As Junior Designer, you will support the creation and development of innovative womenswear garments, helping to shape seasonal collections from concept through to production. You'll work closely with the Design and Product Development teams to deliver commercially relevant, design-led product.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing original womenswear designs aligned with current trends and brand direction
  • Produce detailed sketches, design packs, and prototypes for review and development
  • Research fabrics, fibres, and materials to support new collections
  • Work closely with suppliers to source and develop suitable materials
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform design direction
  • Contribute ideas and feedback throughout the product development process
  • Prepare design presentations for internal and external stakeholders
  • Maintain accurate records of design concepts and development stages
  • Support fabric research and analysis to inform customer and seasonal collections

About You

  • 3-5 years' experience in womenswear or textile/fashion design
  • Degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a related field
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
  • Solid understanding of fabrics, garment construction, and manufacturing processes
  • Knowledge of print design is an advantage
  • Experience with textile printing and dyeing techniques
  • Highly creative with strong attention to detail
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Able to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
