We are currently recruiting for a Global Commercial Visual Merchandising Manager to join an internationally recognised retail brand. This is a high-impact global role based in London, offering the opportunity to shape and elevate in-store experiences across multiple markets. The Global Commercial Visual Merchandising Manager will be responsible for translating brand strategy into clear, commercially relevant in-store visual execution. As a Global Commercial Visual Merchandising Manager, you will lead the development of global VM frameworks, including campaign playbooks and planogram guidelines, ensuring retail teams across markets can implement campaigns with clarity and excellence. The Global Commercial Visual Merchandising Manager will balance brand storytelling with commercial performance, delivering scalable, practical, and inspirational toolkits that drive both visual impact and measurable business results. This position requires someone confident working cross-functionally with brand, design, and marketing teams, while acting as the key global VM contact for regional and international markets.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver global VM campaign playbooks, translating campaign toolkits into clear, execution-ready retail guidelines.
- Create and maintain global VM planogram guidelines to ensure consistency in permanent product placement and navigation principles.
- Act as the global VM partner to regional and international VM leads.
- Ensure all VM tools are commercially viable, scalable, and adaptable across diverse markets.
- Integrate sustainability, durability, and cost-efficiency into VM deliverables.
- Gather feedback from international markets to continuously refine global guidelines.
- Benchmark competitors and identify best practices to elevate in-store brand presence globally.
- Strong background in visual merchandising, retail design, and global brand activation.
- Proven experience creating global VM guidelines that translate creative vision into commercial execution.
- Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Strong project management and organisational ability.
- High level of commercial awareness across multiple retail markets.
- Strong visualisation skills (SketchUp required).
- AI capability is advantageous.
