Key Responsibilities
- Planning and scheduling production and booking factory capacities
- Placing purchase orders with factories
- Negotiating prices with suppliers and shipping companies
- Building strong relationships with key suppliers, leading weekly check-in meetings and overseeing production status reports
- Holding meetings with the sales team to update on the status of all orders and deliveries, and to ensure launch dates are met
- Working closely with design and product developers to build the critical path and ensure key dates are met
- Working together with the shipping company to arrange sea freight/air freight
Other Responsibilities
- Supporting the warehouse with all required information: packing lists, deliveries, inbound forecast
- Supporting the warehouse with arranging transport
- Arranging any required info for production: EAN codes, RRPs, packing requirements
- Other admin tasks (uploading purchase invoices, booking stock on Sage)
