The Role:
We are recruiting a Senior Merchandiser to lead the commercial planning and trading strategy across designated product categories. Reporting to the Head of Merchandising, you will drive sales, margin and stock performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Planning & Trading: Develop seasonal and annual merchandise plans, manage OTB budgets and forecasts, and review weekly sales, margin and stock performance to identify opportunities, risks and required trading actions.
Range & Stock Management: Manage allocation, replenishment and intake across multiple locations, ensuring stock is aligned to customer demand while improving availability, sell-through and stock productivity and reducing markdown exposure.
Commercial Analysis: Analyse historical performance, customer trends and market activity to deliver actionable insights that influence range planning, stock investment, pricing, promotions and markdown decisions.
In-Season Trading: Take ownership of in-season performance, reacting quickly to weekly trading results and reforecasting sales, stock and intake to capitalise on opportunities and manage changing market conditions.
