We are working with a fast-growing, digitally savvy business investing heavily in creative content, digital engagement and original storytelling. As part of this growth, the business is launching a brand-new podcast series and is looking for a creative Podcast Editor to help shape its content and visual identity.

As a Podcast Editor, you will be responsible for turning long‑form podcast footage into engaging, high‑quality content across social and digital platforms. You will edit full podcast episodes as well as short‑form content for TikTok, Instagram and YouTube, identifying strong moments, creating compelling stories and ensuring content is optimised for audience engagement. This is a hands‑on role with the opportunity to make a real creative impact within a scaling business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Edit multi-camera podcast footage into polished long‑form episodes and social content
  • Create reels, clips, teasers and other short‑form content for TikTok, Instagram and YouTube
  • Identify strong hooks, improve pacing and shape conversations into engaging stories
  • Manage colour correction/grading, sound design, audio mixing and noise reduction
  • Create and incorporate motion graphics to enhance content
  • Ensure high standards across audio, lighting, captions and overall production quality
  • Organise project files, maintain version control and manage deadlines
  • Stay ahead of social formats, platform specifications, creative trends and audience behaviour
  • Explore and utilise 3D and AI creative tools to enhance content

Requirements

  • 2–3+ years’ experience in video and/or podcast editing
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating podcast, social and short‑form video editing
  • Advanced skills in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects; experience with DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro or Avid is beneficial
  • High proficiency across Adobe Creative Cloud, including Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Experience with multi‑camera editing, colour grading, sound design and motion graphics
  • Strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube formats
  • Digitally savvy with a strong understanding of current content and design trends
  • Excellent storytelling, pacing and attention to detail
  • Experience with 3D and AI tools
  • Highly organised, reliable and able to work autonomously in a fast‑paced environment
