This is a great opportunity to join an established fashion business as a Junior Account Manager, supporting a number of key high street customer accounts.
About the role:
As Junior Account Manager, you will support the day-to-day running of customer accounts, helping to manage products from initial brief through to order and delivery. Working closely with internal teams across Sales, Design, Product Development, Merchandising and QA, you'll help coordinate samples, approvals and timelines while ensuring customers are kept updated throughout the process.
You’ll play an important role in maintaining accurate information across costs, specifications, quantities and delivery dates, resolving queries quickly and helping to deliver a high level of customer service.
This role would suit someone who is organised, proactive and looking to build their career within a fast-paced fashion environment.
Main Responsibilities
- Support Senior Account Managers and Merchandisers with the day-to-day management of customer accounts.
- Maintain accurate internal systems and ensure information is kept up to date.
- Raise and manage customer purchase orders and associated documentation.
- Prepare for customer meetings, including range sheets, status reports and sample preparation.
- Support with order sheets, PO checks and reconciliations.
- Manage critical paths and coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure deadlines are met.
- Liaise with factories, logistics and technical teams throughout the order process.
- Support with customer queries, samples and approvals.
- Analyse sales information and market trends to help identify new opportunities.
- Assist with new account onboarding and attend meetings, trade shows and client visits where required.
- Work closely with merchandising and production teams to support commercial and margin targets.
The Candidate
- Previous experience within a fashion, wholesale or supplier environment.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Good understanding of product development, critical paths and order processes.
- Comfortable working across multiple accounts and priorities.
- Proactive, detail-oriented and confident working with both customers and internal teams.
