We are looking for a proactive, detail-driven Accountant to join a super friendly business based in central London. You will handle day-to-day finance operations while helping to shape smarter, more efficient processes as the business grows internationally.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage Accounts Payable & Receivable end-to-end - billing, payments, credit control, reconciliations.
- Oversee cash flow forecasting and foreign currency management (USD hedging, forwards, supplier payments).
- Prepare and submit quarterly VAT returns (business & pension scheme).
- Produce quarterly & year-end management accounts (stock, depreciation, accruals, reconciliations).
- Work with sales, product & leadership teams to improve financial efficiency and product costing.
- Administer a small SSAS Pension Scheme, coordinating payments and documentation.
- Support general office finance needs - contracts, insurance, supplier reviews, and process improvements.
What You’ll Bring:
- 5+ years in accounting roles, with VAT and management accounts experience.
- Understanding of international trade, importing, and FX.
- Proficient in Xero, Excel, and Google Sheets (ideally).
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and a collaborative approach.
