Overview

We have an exciting opportunity to expand the reception team at Charter Vets.

As a receptionist you will provide a friendly, efficient and professional service to our clients and their animals. You will need to be able to work within a team, sometimes under high pressure.

Responsibilities

  • Answering the telephone, booking appointments and processing prescription requests.
  • Dealing with clients at the reception desk, taking payments and dealing with enquiries.
  • Accurately recording client and animal information on our IT system, so good IT skills would be preferable.
  • Cleaning duties are involved.
  • This position will be part time at approximately 20-25 hours per week
  • Including weekends on a rota basis and some bank holidays
  • This role will be located at our 3 sites, Roundswell, Pilton and Mullacott, so transportation is essential.

Requirements

  • Previous veterinary receptionist experience would be preferable but not essential.
  • Good IT skills for recording information in our IT system.
