Are you passionate about animals anddedicated to providing top-notch customer service? Lumbry Park Veterinary Specialists, one of the UK\’s leading specialist referral centres, is looking for an enthusiastic and empathetic Referral Veterinary Receptionist to join our front-of-house team!
Location: Alton, Hampshire
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 14 hours per week, working weekends only.

About the Role:
As a Referral Veterinary Receptionist at Lumbry Park, your role will be vital to creating a welcoming, professional, and friendly experience for pet owners, visitors, and telephone callers. You\’ll be responsible for a variety of tasks, including:
- Greeting clients and ensuring their needs are met with care and attention
- Answering phone calls, booking appointments, and managing client queries via phone, email, and in-person
- Handling payment transactions and insurance forms
- Maintaining a clean and welcoming reception area
- Working closely with our veterinary team to support the best outcomes for our patients

What We\’re Looking For:
We are seeking a motivated, friendly individual who:
- Has previous receptionist experience (veterinary or customer service experience is a plus!)
- Possesses excellent communication skills and empathy
- Is resilient and able to handle emotionally challenging situations
- Works well in a team and is adaptable to varying tasks
- Is proficient in Microsoft Office and able to learn new systems quickly
