We have a fantastic opportunity for a Full Time Credit control/Accounts Administrator to join our team at Chestergates Veterinary Specialists. At Chestergates Veterinary Specialists, we cover a wide range of disciplines including neurology and neurosurgery, cardiology, oncology, internal medicine, soft tissue surgery, orthopaedics, physiotherapy, anaesthesia, diagnostic imaging, interventional radiology and ophthalmology. The hospital is staffed 24-hours a day by a truly superb team of qualified veterinary surgeons, veterinary nurses and support staff, all completely dedicated to their role.
As a credit control/accounts administrator you will provide a friendly, efficient and professional service to our clients and their pets. You will need to be able to work well within a team, on your own and sometimes under high pressure to meet business deadlines. This is a permanent, full time role, working over 5 days a week, Monday – Friday, between the hours of 7:30am – 4pm. Previous accounts or credit control experience would be preferable. Training will be provided. Flexibility is a must.
Main duties would include:
- Daily cashing up and banking.
- Till reconciliation.
- Debt management/credit control.
- End of month closing accounts.
- Taking card payments/ BACS payments.
- Processing refunds to clients and insurance companies.
- Answering the telephone.
- Client care face to face, via email or over the phone.
- Answering emails from clients.
- Helping with client insurance queries.
- Liaising with different teams within the practice.
- Working closely with the management team.
- General administrator duties such as scanning and filing.
- Accurately recording client and patient information on our IT system.
- Liaising with debt collection agencies.
Expectations:
- Previous accounts background and credit control preferred.
- Customer Service experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Computer literacy in application of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and the ability to pick up bespoke systems.
- Self motivated individual with ability to work under pressure.
- Working efficiently at a fast pace.
