You will be responsible for overseeing inventory levels, analysing data to identify trends, and implementing strategies to optimise inventory control.Day to day managing of the inventory control to produce efficient system and physical solutions, maximising accuracy, reliability, and minimising any potential loss against pre-agreed targets and control with the Operations Manager.Complete prompt and full in-depth investigations and report with robust solutions to be communicated to and agreed with the Operations ManagerAll enquiries from colleagues in warehouse or other departments investigated and solution/s provided in agreed timeframes.Provide comprehensive cycle counting making sure all locations are counted and ensuring accuracy and integrity of stock as agreed with Operations Manager.Forecast supply and demand to prevent over stock and shortagesSuspense file to be investigated and cleared daily, any deviation to be agreed with Operations Manager.Responsibility for performing all duties in compliance with related legal/statutory requirements, regulations, professional duties, responsibilities and obligations.Preparing reports and advising management on strategies to improve procedures and maximise efficiencyEnsure accurate investigations and results are produced to maintain stock integrity.Ability to track and understand stock movement data end to end through various systemsMeet your KPI targets as set out by the Operations Manager and the businessSupport the JDA system, processes, controls and reporting.Operate flexibly in a warehouse team working environmentKey Skills and Experience:Minimum of 3 years Inventory management experience in a logistics/warehouse/supply chain operationExcellent Knowledge of warehouse stock systems, processes and experienced in using WMS (JDA preferably).In-depth knowledge of inventory management principles and best practicesHigh standard of literacy and numeracy, computer literate.Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsFocussed attention to detail and organisational abilities with excellent time managementAbility to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Knowledge of supply chain management principles and practicesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.Strong understanding of financial implications of inventory management decisions.Ability to meet challenging deadlinesQualifications in inventory management, supply chain management, operations or business administrationExposure to collaboratively working with broader business functions to deliver process efficiencies and manage costs.Able to represent and act autonomously on behalf of the department and initiate sound business proposals.Alongside a salary of up to Β£35,000 DOE, we are offering benefits including; 6.6 weeks holiday, buy/sell holiday scheme, pension matched up to 6%, 1 day extra holiday per year up to 5 years, enhanced maternity/paternity/adoption leave, generous staff discount on pet care and products.CVS is committed to being a fully inclusive place to work where all our colleagues are encouraged and supported to be themselves, where difference is celebrated and where everyone feels able to deliver their best.
