Head Veterinary Surgeon – YourVets Nuneaton, Warwickshire
Are you able to help progress and mentor your own team? The team is friendly and supportive and there is both intrinsic drive from the team to learn and grow and offer more for our patients, from being able to offer laparoscopic surgery to promoting high nurse utilisation and satisfaction. I have personally expressed interest in cardiology and ECC which has been enthusiastically supported by the clinical team and management. I am looking forward to seeing how the practice will grow and feel a head vet with the same ethos would only add to our success.
Throughout this journey, I have been continually supported by senior leadership, the Practice Director, and have had access to abundant leadership training opportunities through CVS's Knowledge Hub. As a clinic, we are progressive, forward-thinking, and passionate. From our receptionists, VCA's, nurses to our vets, we collaborate to continually enhance patient care and uphold high standards.
The clinic is fairly new, and we have all the equipment necessary for x-rays, ultrasounds, soft tissue surgeries and dental procedures. The vet team is very friendly as well; we help each other and always find something to learn from the other members of the team.
Please note that this is a full-time position suitable for someone who prides themselves on providing great leadership & coaching to their own teams coupled with a consistently high level of service to their clients. This role will provide you with ample opportunity for progression and fulfilment, with comprehensive clinical management training also available. You would be far from alone, with support from an excellent practice team, senior clinical director, regional director and a large friendly network within the company.
Competitive salary up to £75k DOE, 25 days holiday + bank holidays (+ 1 additional day every year, up to 5 years), as well as the opportunity to sell/buy up to 2 weeks holiday, CVS pension scheme, staff discount, employee assistance programme, Save as you Earn scheme, voluntary private medical insurance scheme, health cash plan, industry-leading maternity, paternity & joint parental leave plans, fertility & pregnancy loss policy.
We are also determined to build a workforce that is more representative of our diverse communities and the people we provide our services to.
