Farthings is a two site practice based in the historical towns of Horsham and Billingshurst, it is within an hour train ride to London and around 45 minutes to the seaside. Situated between the North and South Downs, it creates great opportunity for outdoor life and boasts excellent dog walking locations.
The practice is well established with 10 FTE vets and a generous 19 FTE RVNs. The practice can offer a varied caseload with its clients, and have a high percentage dedicated to the Healthy Pet Club and a high standard of care for their pets.
We are looking for a confident and experienced Small Animal Vet to join our team here at Farthings Veterinary Group as our Senior Vet. Working alongside our Clinical Director Karen you will lead and drive clinical standards in the practice while also providing support to our Junior team members.
We require you to be an excellent teacher and mentor to our junior colleagues as they master more basic surgical procedures. In return they can refer you all the complicated stuff to satisfy your enthusiasm and desire to continue to develop your skills.
For this role we have full time 40 hours a week available but are happy to discuss flexible working options to suit you as well.
