We're Hiring: Care Worker
Are you a compassionate, dependable individual who wants to make a meaningful difference in people's lives? Join our team of Care Workers and help individuals live fulfilling lives in the comfort of their own homes! We support individuals facing challenges due to age, illness, disability, or other circumstances. Your key responsibilities will be:
- Personal Care: Support with daily living activities: bathing, dressing, grooming and toilet. Assist with mobility and safe transfers in and out of beds etc. Use of mobility aids when required.
- Health & Medication Support: Assist with medication: administration or reminders as prescribed. Support with feeding, ensuring proper nutrition and hydration.
- Emotional & Social Support: Offer companionship. Encourage social interaction and help clients stay connected with loved ones. Provide reassurance and emotional wellbeing.
- Domestic Assistance: Help with light household tasks including cleaning, laundry and meal prep. Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
- Communication & Documentation: Record and report changes in health, mood, or behaviour. Communicate clearly with family members, healthcare professionals, and other team members.
- Personal Advocacy: Empower individuals to make choices and decisions about their care. Ensure clients' rights and dignity are upheld at all times.
What We're Looking For
- Experience: Previous care experience is helpful but not essential as full training is provided.
- Communication Skills: Strong spoken and written English to follow care plans and communicate effectively.
- Drivers License: A full UK driving license and access to your own vehicle is essential.
- Flexibility: Ability to work flexible hours, including alternate weekends.
