Our client is a leading international Civil Engineering company strengthening their team on high-profile data centre projects throughout Europe, with this particular project based in the Netherlands.
The QA Engineer role is a hands-on site-based position, responsible for ensuring all below-ground construction and underground utility works are delivered in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, ITPs and quality standards.

Must be flexible to work on a rota basis | 10-hour working day (Monday to Friday) + Overtime if Required
QA Engineer β Key Essentials:
- Oversee quality assurance and inspection of below-ground concrete pours and structures
- Inspect underground utilities including drainage, ducting, chambers and associated infrastructure
- Ensure works comply with approved drawings, specifications, ITPs and project quality requirements
- Coordinate inspections, testing and sign-offs with site teams, subcontractors and the principal contractor
- Review concrete pour records, testing results, material certifications and quality documentation
- Identify, record and manage NCRs, defects and corrective actions through to close-out
- Maintain accurate quality records and ensure all documentation is completed and available for handover
- Work closely with Construction, Engineering, Planning, Commercial and Health & Safety teams
- Ensure site teams are working to the latest approved drawings and construction information
- Provide proactive quality advice and support to site management and subcontractors
QA Engineer β Requirements:
- Proven QA/QC experience within civil engineering or utility projects
- Strong experience with below-ground concrete works and concrete pours
- Good understanding of underground utilities and drainage installations
- Experience working with ITPs, inspections, testing, NCRs and quality documentation
- Ability to read and interpret civil engineering and utility drawings
- Hands-on approach with the ability to work effectively within a busy site environment
