Contract Type: Part Time

Full time salary range is: £34,434 - £41,771 Pro rata for 15 hours per week, term time only is £12,427 - £15,075

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced School Business / Finance Manager to join our Catholic school family. We are looking for someone to lead our school's financial management and develop robust financial systems and procedures. You will be responsible for overseeing the school budget, managing accounts, financial planning and reporting, and ensuring compliance with all relevant financial regulations. Working closely with the Headteacher and governors, you will provide expert financial guidance whilst ensuring an excellent service for parents, staff and the wider community.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have experience of working in a similar role
  • Be responsible for aspects of the school including: Finance and Budgeting, Facilities, Health & Safety
  • Be responsible for financial monitoring and statutory returns from the school to the local authority.
  • Work in partnership with senior leaders and report to, and advise, the Governing Body.
  • Have excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Have an in-depth knowledge of Schools MIS systems including SIMS and Access
  • Report to the LA using CFR reporting termly
  • Be friendly, flexible, professional, and hardworking
