Are you an experienced Civil Engineer looking for a new challenge? We are currently working with a leading independent company, delivering high quality land remediation and earthwork projects. Due to continued growth and a strong project pipeline, they are looking to grow the team…\\n\\nWe’re seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to support the delivery of large-scale Earthworks and Ground Remediation projects.

The role will involve overseeing technical delivery on-site, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to specification.\\n\\nSalary to £60k | Company Vehicle or Allowance | 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays | Pension\\n\\nCivil Engineer Key Essentials:\\n\\n * As A Civil Engineer you will be responsible for planning, managing, and overseeing earthworks and ground remediation operations, including cut and fill, soil stabilisation, and material re-engineering\\n\\n * Supervise subcontractors and operatives, ensuring compliance with design, quality, and safety standards\\n\\n * Liaise with Environmental Consultants, Geotechnical Engineers, and client representatives to ensure technical requirements are met\\n\\n * Monitor and record daily progress, volumes moved, and materials testing\\n\\n * Support the preparation of method statements, risk assessments, and ITPs (Inspection Test Plans)\\n\\n * Ensure all earthworks and remediation works comply with CDM Regulations, environmental controls, and industry standards\\n\\n * Provide accurate as-built records and assist in handover documentation.\\n\\n * Contribute to value engineering and innovative solutions for ground improvement\\n\\nCivil Engineer Requirements:\\n\\n * Professionally qualified in Civil Engineering\\n\\n * Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in Civil Engineering with exposure to earthworks and/or ground remediation\\n\\n * Strong knowledge of earthworks specifications, site investigation data, and soil classification\\n\\n * Willingness to travel to sites throughout the North East\\n\\n#civilengineer #landremediation #remediation #earthworks #soiltesting #groundinvestigation #maincontractor #environmentalengineering #contaminatedland #charteredengineer #remediationprojects\\n\\nBy applying for this position, you are agreeing for CVL:LDN to hold and process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
