Site Manager Key Essentials:- As a Site Manager, you will lead all civil site activities including earthworks, ducting, and drainage in preparation for bund construction.
- You will manage the installation of bunds, ensuring formwork, rebar, concrete pouring, and curing are delivered to engineering and quality standards – knowledge of bund installation is essential.
- Take the lead on Health & Safety compliance on site, conducting inductions, toolbox talks, managing RAMS, and ensuring full adherence to CDM 2015 and HSE regulations.
- Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, including groundworkers, formwork teams, and concrete specialists, to ensure safe and efficient delivery of all works.
- Maintain quality through the implementation of Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), ensuring accurate documentation for project handover.
- As the Site Manager, act as the main point of contact for the client, delivering progress updates and resolving technical queries in collaboration with design teams.
- Keep accurate daily records and manage on-site logistics and materials.
- Proven track record as a Site Manager delivering civil works for substation builds, with direct experience managing bund construction.
- Strong working knowledge of CDM Regulations, civil site practices, and concrete installation methods.
- SMSTS qualified.
- Technically competent in reading civil drawings.
