Bright Star Talent are delighted to be supporting a well‑established primary school in Kingstanding, Birmingham, in their search for a confident and experienced HLTA to join their team on a full‑time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Higher Level Teaching Assistant who is ready to take on additional responsibility, support across the school, and confidently lead learning when required. You will play a key role in supporting teaching and learning across different year groups, delivering interventions, and occasionally covering whole classes in the absence of the teacher.
What You'll Be Doing- Leading whole‑class sessions in the teacher’s absence
- Delivering targeted interventions to support pupil progress
- Supporting teaching and learning across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
- Working closely with teachers to plan and deliver engaging activities
- Providing support for pupils with additional needs where required
- HLTA qualification or equivalent experience
- Previous experience in a primary school setting
- Confidence in leading a class and managing behaviour effectively
- Strong understanding of the primary curriculum
