In This Role, You Will
- Architect and deliver a comprehensive marketing strategy for Europe, directly supporting regional bookings and revenue targets
- Develop budgets and KPIs to support hospitality sales in Europe, aligning with global objectives and local market needs
- Lead, mentor and grow a cross-regional marketing team (UK and India), fostering a culture of innovation, accountability and excellence across demand generation, content, customer marketing, event marketing, partnerships and sales enablement
- Drive multi-channel B2B lead generation through programs and campaigns to drive demand and nurture leads throughout the buyer and customer journey
- Define KPIs, analyse campaign effectiveness, and report on marketing performance to executive leadership. Use data-driven insights to inform strategy and optimise spend
- Collaborate with sales leaders to improve lead conversion, drive pipeline, and accelerate sales
- Partner with global product marketing team to refine personas, product positioning, messaging and go-to-market strategies tailored for the European hospitality sector
- Work with global customer marketing team to design and deploy programs targeting named accounts, top buyers and product users to drive retention, upsell/cross-sell and advocacy
- Localize and execute global marketing initiatives, leveraging centralized operations while ensuring regional relevance
- Champion and position Cvent as a leader in hospitality technology by driving thought leadership, PR and content strategies tailored to the European market
- Pursue and execute speaking opportunities and trade shows and conferences in the region
- Build and nurture relationships with key industry partners, associations, and media to amplify Cvent’s presence and influence
- Work with central events marketing team to lead the marketing strategy for flagship events such as Cvent CONNECT Europe and Cvent Accelerate, including sponsorship, content, and attendee acquisition
Here\’s What You Need
- Extensive experience of progressive B2B marketing experience, including a senior leadership role
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field required; advanced degree or professional marketing qualifications preferred
- Experience in the hospitality is a must with SaaS or technology sectors highly desirable
- Some experience leading marketing team responsible for Europe region
- Some experience working in marketing in a multi-national company
- Record of working effectively with B2B sales leadership and teams
- Significant experience in event marketing, content marketing, digital marketing, campaign execution, account-based marketing, and campaign measurement
- Demonstrated strength working cross-functionally with product management, customer success, marketing operations and market research
- Superior written and verbal communication skills
- Superior analytical capabilities for interpreting, packaging and presenting data for internal or external audiences and for assessing the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and programs
- Able to operate in both a strategic capacity and a hands-on execution capacity
- Fast learner with the ability to execute and thrive in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment
- Experience exploring (and thirst to continue) how creative, responsible use of AI can improve productivity and customer experience
