The predicted salary is between 56000 - 84000 £ per year.
Location: Hybrid. Tower Bridge, London - 1 / 2 days from the office, 3/4 days from home
Salary: up to £70K + discretionary bonus based on performance and medical insurance. Permanent contract: Mon-Fri, 9AM-5.30PM
Our client is an established boutique family office providing a full range of accountancy and tax advisory services to a wide range of clients, from small and medium size growth businesses and individuals to multi-national corporations. Due to continued growth, the firm is seeking to recruit a Senior Client Accounting / Tax Advisor at their London offices.
This job offers the opportunity to work from home, most of the week + the chance to join an established practice (400 clients) and a healthy work environment.
At an important time in its continuing development, this role offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced person to manage an existing portfolio of clients, and help grow the business.
- Important role managing the delivery of workflows for a portfolio of lead client accounts
- Management accounts activities
- Offering clients advice and assistance on matters of accounts, taxes, and business practices, including preparation of year-end financial statements, performing field audit work, preparation of Corporation Tax returns (CT600), preparation of Personal Tax, preparation of VAT returns, preparation of Management Accounts
Skills
- Experience in practice / consultancy roles is compulsory.
- Italian and/or Spanish speaking; if you do not speak any EU languages but have past experience in practice / consultancy roles, please apply anyway.
- You are confident with good interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral.
- You have experience of working on a wide range of clients - you will manage your own portfolio of clients.
- Prior knowledge and experience in operating Sage 50 Accounts, Sage Cloud, Xero, Quick Books and VT (experience would be beneficial).
- You are willing and able to work under pressure and cope with demanding deadlines.
- You have developed good client liaison skills.
- You work well as part of a team.
- Your analytical skills and attention to detail and ability to think laterally mean you are capable of identifying potential problems and providing solutions.
- You are up to date with current accounting issues.
- You show initiative, exercise judgement and take ownership of issues from start to finish.
- Accounting qualified - AAT level 4 / ACCA or part-qualified.
- Collaborative mindset - this is a small team and flexibility is a must!
