Job Description Job Title: Solution Design (part of the Pre-Sales team) /n Location - Hybrid (1-2 times a week working from the office based in Milton Keynes) /n VISA is not offered so only apply if you have one. /n Salary: up to £50.000 + discretionary bonus equivalent to 10% + pension, medical and life insurance. /n Our client specialises in automation solutions within the F&B industry (conveyors, material handling etc); so we are looking for someone with advanced mechanical engineering skills as well as some experience in automation, preferably in industrial / manufacturing / logistics settings. /n The Solution Design Engineer will play an important role in driving and supporting the growth of the business in the UK, collaborating with the sales team to deliver customer solutions. /n /n - Identify the best technical solutions for sales, considering the customer requirements, flow analysis and costs /n - Create the project layout, the estimate, and the offer /n - Evaluate documents/tenders relating to specific requests and interface with other teams (procurement, project operations, industrial operations) to gather necessary information for the development of the project within the required timeframe. /n - Process and disseminate the internal order and cost sheet relating to the operational entities of the project sold /n - Collaborate with commercial entities to support them from a technical point of view both at headquarters and at the customer premises, making the maximum contribution to the success of the project /n - Ensure processing times of all information requested by Area Manager are managed appropriately /n - Collaborate closely with the supervisor to be always aligned on the activities and facilitate cooperation with the headquarter /n /n Skills & Experience /n /n - Degree in Mechanical, Management, Mechatronics or Civil Engineering /n - Knowledge of automation and automatic machines, industrial plant engineering and industrial logistics /n - Knowledge of reading and integrating drawings from external suppliers /n - Knowledge of Autocad /n - Excellent communication skills /n - Ability to evaluate and process information accurately /n - Problem solving skills /n - Collaborative working style and ability to work well in a team /n - Highly customer orientated and able to understand the needs of the client /n - Results oriented with strong analytical skills /n - Proficient in MS Office /n /n Please apply ASAP if you are interested in this opportunity - email your CV ASAP.
